Mini-Lesson: The New NYS ELA!
- Mr. DeGrandis will present a PowerPoint about the new and improved NYS ELA for 2018.
- You will complete the Structured Response Activity in Google Classroom as you listen, with a partner or on your own.
- Mr. DeGrandis will demonstrate how to log in to the NYS Website that has three Test Samplers we will be using in order to understand the test format, digital tools available and some of the most common questions you will encounter during the test.
Work Time
Login to the Testing Site Using the following information...
- Once you login in successfully...
- Select Test 1
- Try to do the following...
- Figure out what the REVIEW button does.
- Try highlighting some text.
- Make the font larger or smaller.
- Select an answer.
- Block out answers you don't want to see.
- Write three notes on three different questions.
- Bookmark a question.
