7. contagion n. (contagious) - the spreading of a disease or idea from one person to another through close contact
Once the idea of storming the Bastille took hold, it spread like a contagion among the people.
8. pestilence n. (pestilences) - a fatal epidemic disease, especially the bubonic plague
The Ebola virus is a horrific pestilence that was just as easily spread as the bubonic plague.

Graphic Organizer in Google Classroom Assignment 22.0 and the novel, Inside Out and Back Again, find nine pieces of evidence that are accurate, reliable and support your topic sentence. Things like... characteristics of Ha's personality, values, beliefs or physical appearance.
- Actively Read up to page 37 in the novel. Fill in evidence about Ha as you go!
- Share your evidence with one or two other students and fill in your chart with any evidence they found that is different from yours.
- Check their evidence to be sure it is solid!
