DO Now - Pick a Quote

    Entry Title: Pick a Quote
DIRECTIONS:  Select your favorite from the quotes below.  Explain it.  Then explain why you selected that quote.

    1. “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view … Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.”
    2. “Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing.”
    3. “Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit ‘em, but remember it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird.”
    4. “People generally see what they look for, and hear what they listen for.”
    5. “I think there’s just one kind of folks. Folks.”
    EXAMPLE
I chose quote 2.  To me, it means that we take things for granted and when they are gone we miss them.  This quote interested me because it made me think about the things in my life I take for granted; people in my life (family and friends) as well as things like my car, my home and even my garage.
