        ANNOUNCEMENTS          

1.  Have you checked your Gmail lately?  Have you cleaned it up?

2.  Do you have Grammarly installed on your computer?  Go to Google and type in Install Grammarly Extension for Chrome.  You will love it!


        DO NOW          

Go to Google.com and type in Genius Hour.  

Find any article, video, or website on it, read/view it, and be ready to share one interesting fact about it with the class for a participation grade.

List as many things as you can!  Turn it in by the end of class OR by 11:59 PM tonight!


PERIOD 4 ONLY: Complete your Where I'm From poem.



          ASSESSMENT          


1.  Talk about Genius Hour with your parents and ask them what they think you might do for your project.

a. Can support your project financially?

b.  Can you do the project over the winter and how?

c.  Is it something they think you would be interested in?


2.  Don't forget to turn in assignment 17.5 if you did not finish it in class!




     WEDNESDAY    10-13-21      A-C Day: 6-Word Horror Stories     

        ANNOUNCEMENTS          

1. Check your Gmail twice a day - before school and after school.

2.  REMINDER: 8th Grade lunch is from 11:40 -12:23 today.

1.  Plan the story in your head first.

2.  Sketch it out on paper.

3.  Have your work proofread by at least two other people before using Canva.

4.  Finalize the design in Canva.

5.  Post it on the Padlet for a grade.
