Steps to Create Your Genius Project Proposal
1. Write a script. Here is a sample script for my GH Proposal.
2. Use a presentation application to animate each part of your script.
3. Have at least two peers review your presentation for typos.
- Next week, you will “pitch” your Genius Project Project idea to the full class with a 60-second mini-presentation using a digital presentation tool. Your pitch must include:
- Your name.
- What you'll be doing for your Genius Project.
- Why you chose this project (Tell a little story, perhaps?)
- What materials/resources you’ll need.
- What obstacles do you anticipate and your plan to navigate those obstacles?
- Why this project is worthy of a significant investment of your time.
WORK TIME
1. Write your script first. Has the draft been looked at by at least two peers?
2. Have your teacher or a friend read it over.
3. Make changes.
ASSESSMENT Turn in your proposal when completed.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY 10-5, 6-22 A-Day: Work on GH Proposals
